The best apps for a serious bible study student
After I installed this apps, I gradually removed the other e-bibles apps from my iPhone. Some of them are paid version, but in my opinion, this apps is much better than those paid version. I am not a big fans of using iPhone to read the bible. But this apps completely changed my views of e-bible. These features cannot be found from other apps 1) Read the bible in several bible translation versions at the same time. If you do not understand Greek or Hebrews, read the different version of bible is crucial for a better understanding of each word. In the other apps you need to swap from one version to the other. with this apps you can read it together. For the word study, this is crucial 2) An easy assess to commentary for each book and each verse. If you like to study the words of " the righteousness of God" from the book of Romans, you can check the different version of bible to do the word study to understand the meaning of it, at the same time you can check the reference very quickly. 3) Greek and Hebrews dictionary. this tool is not easy to find in the other apps. I often use BDAG with bibleworks software to study the meaning of the important word like " righteousness of God", but this apps also provide a simple version of dictionary. It can be use as concordance took as well. The only thing I think author can improve is to load more newer conference book to the apps, but I guess it could be due to the copyright issue. The illustration reference book is a little bit old. For sermon, illustration This is a great job. Well done
